Terms of Use

Effective October 4, 2026. These terms govern the Ayr Art website and public discovery API and connector endpoints at ayrart.ai, operated by Ayr Art, Inc. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The discovery service

Ayr Art helps collectors discover published fine art listings, artists, and gallery information. Available artwork results come from Ayr Gallery's public catalog, with Melissa Ayr as the default artist. Searches match published text and filters; they do not identify artwork in images or provide semantic or visual similarity matching. Independent San Francisco and Los Angeles galleries are sourced directory listings; their inventory and prices are not connected.

This release is free to use and requires no Ayr Art visitor account. It is read-only: it does not reserve artwork, send introductions or inquiries, arrange appointments, accept payment, complete purchases, or access social accounts. Muse availability depends on its separate review and service conditions; Ayr Art does not claim Meta approval or endorsement.

Listing information and transactions

Prices, descriptions, availability, dimensions, and artist attribution are supplied by the catalog or named sources and may change or contain errors. Retrieval timestamps identify when data was fetched, not an independent verification. An unknown price is not a zero price. Confirm final price, availability, authenticity, condition, shipping, taxes, and other transaction terms directly with the seller.

Results are discovery information, not an offer to sell, an appraisal, or an investment recommendation. Purchases and inquiries on a gallery website are separate from this service and subject to that seller's terms. A directory listing does not establish a partnership, endorsement, agency relationship, or referral agreement. No referral fee or paid ranking applies to the independent directory listings in this release.

Acceptable use and agent access

Use the service lawfully and respect other people's rights. Do not disrupt it, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent security controls, send malicious requests, or use it to expose private information. Automated read-only access to documented public endpoints is permitted subject to these terms and hosting limits. Do not submit passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal data. The service may restrict abusive traffic or change access limits.

Agents and applications using these endpoints must preserve source attribution and artist identity, report uncertainty and failures accurately, and avoid presenting unsupported actions as completed. Do not describe directory listings as connected inventory or partners. Your use of a separate agent is also subject to that provider's terms.

Artwork and intellectual property

Artwork, photographs, text, logos, and other materials remain subject to their owners' rights. Access to discovery results does not grant ownership or a license to reproduce, print, distribute, train models on, or otherwise commercially exploit artwork or protected assets. Links to third-party services do not grant rights in those services or their content.

Availability and responsibility

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue the service. We aim to provide useful and accurate results but do not promise uninterrupted access, complete gallery coverage, or error-free information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, availability, or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
